Aircraft 42-102973 buzzing the airfield. It was not unusual for a crew to buzz the runway upon completion of the tour. This was not acceptable at any other time. This plane was 'really' low.

The ground crew digging out Paper Doll from the mud after the aircraft went off the runway and became stuck.
Paper Doll in formation. The aircraft was lost at Merseberg, Germany on Nov 2nd 1944. The pilot, Graeme Bow and four of his crew were killed on this raid.
