Lest We Forget.
"In Perpetural Memory of Those Valiant American Airmen of the 457th Bomb Group Who, During World War II Gave Their Lives That Freedom Might Prevail".
TAPS
Day is done, gone the sun,
From the lake, from the hills, from the sky
All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.

This memorial is reverently dedicated to those of the 457th Bomb Group who have been taken from us. It is with sorrow for their passing, but with gratitude for their lives, that we pay honor to our fallen comrades.
We especially honor those 333 men who placed their lives on the altar of freedom. We recall the many hundreds of men and women of the Group who survived the horror of World War II, some suffering as prisoners of war, who have since been called home to our Eternal Father. Here we call the roll of those whose memories we will always cherish.
