749th Bomb Squadron, Callsign B, B-17G, Failed to Return - Flak - Osnabruck, 09/26/1944
The tail section of plane s/n 42-32079, "Delayed Lady", which was shot down and crashed near Haarlem, Netherlands on a raid to Osnabruck, Germany on Sept 26th, 1944. Two of the crew were killed, three were POW's and two evaded.
