750th Bomb Squadron, Callsign D, B-17G, Failed to Return - - Merseberg, 11/02/1944
Plane s/n 42-31923, "Prop Wash" piloted by Lt Gordon Gallagher was shot down by fighters on a raid to Merseberg, Germany on Nov 2nd, 1944. Five of the crew were killed and four became POW's.
