Date - December 23, 1943
Target - Crashed in USA
On Dec 23rd,1943, while still in the USA, s/n 42-31541, piloted by William R. Snow, was involved in a mid-air collision with s/n 42-38065 while practicing formation flying at Wendover AAF in Utah. The other plane managed to return to the base and land. Four officers and four enlisted men on 42-31541 were killed. For a detailed description of this accident see also Carey Jones Story
