These four photos are strike photos of Group Mission #111 to Huy, Belgium on Aug 18th, 1944.
This was a tactical mission to destroy a railroad bridge over the Meuse River at Huy. The bridge was a 350 foot span that was a main supply route to German troops in France. If you look closely at the before and after pictures you'll see that the group bombs covered the bridge completely.
These are the strike photos of the Group Mission #112 to Weimar on Aug 24th, 1944. This was an attack on an armament facrory located five miles northwest of Weimar probably engaged in the production of the V-2 rocket. The lead and high box scored a perfect hit on the target as shown in this series of photos.
